Q: Although we’re on a budget, we would still like to use the expertise of a wedding planner. How can we make the most of using a professional, is there certain areas you recommend we get assistance on?
The most important thing is to work out which aspects of your wedding are the most important to you. Many wedding planners offer bespoke services which means you don’t need to spend on a full wedding planning service to benefit from their knowledge and experience.
Selecting a venue is one of the most important decisions you will make as it will set the overall style and tone of your wedding, and I would recommend that if you don’t have a venue in mind this is one area where a professional planner would be invaluable.
An important factor to consider is that a wedding planner can actually save you money. We have strong relationships with our suppliers and can negotiate discounts on your behalf.
Do consider the wedding day itself; are you happy to be the point of contact for all your suppliers and deal with any queries or last minute hitches? This is one area that I strongly believe every bride could do with some help. Many planners offer an ‘on-the-day’ coordination service ensuring that absolutely everything is taken care of, so you can spend your time enjoying your wedding day with family and friends after months of hard work and planning.

Happy New Year!
We’re looking forward to a great 2013 in the Fine Style office. Lots of exciting new projects planned that we hope to share with you over the coming weeks and months!
But first, we wanted to share with you the gorgeous video released yesterday by Tom Fletcher from McFly. He didn’t give a speech at his wedding…he sung it. Sooo romantic!
So, if you’re struggling to get back into work after a long Christmas break, why not take 15 mins out to watch this gorgeous video. It’s long but worth it, and will cheer you up on a cold winter’s day whether you’re getting married or not!
No pressure now groom’s ……
Having recently been on a trip to the Middle East with gorgeous sunshine and temperatures akin to our summer, I returned to a shocking -1 degrees and snow! Whilst I am all for the hot weather, there is something about our winters and the crisp, white snow that is really romantic.
So, continuing our recent blog post on White Christmas Weddings, I’ve created a new Pinterest board with beautiful ideas and photography with snow on your wedding day.
According to an ancient superstition, snow on your wedding day symbolises fertility and prosperity!
So enjoy…..and our next blog post will discuss how to overcome some of the dilemna’s snow on your wedding day may bring!
